ICDL
ICDL also known as International Computer Driving Licence is a computer literacy certification programme developed by ICDL Foundation and awarded in Ireland by ICS Skills (Irish Computer Society). ICDL certification is a globally recognised information and communication technology and digital literacy qualification.
ICDL Automated Testing Centre
Ballycommon Telework and Training Centre Ltd is an ICDL Accredited Testing Centre. On completion of the tutor-led or e-learning module the candidate then sits the electronic diagnostic test (practice test). The result of the diagnostic test is reported immediately the test is completed. The candidate can then contact the test centre and arrange to sit the online test. The candidate would be expected to carry out various tasks within the relevant application. The ATS (Automated Test System) monitors the candidate’s ability to complete the task correctly and automatically returns the final result at the end of the exam.
Each module is tested separately with each test lasting no longer than 45 minutes. The tests can be attempted in any order in our centre.

Our soft skills training covers a range of topics ie Personal Development which introduces learners to human behaviour and motivation, communication skills that develops the skills and confidence necessary to convey and interpret meaning effectively in writing, visually and verbally.
Ballycommon Telework and Training Centre are launching its new Support Programme for Junior and Leaving Cert students. The programme aims to offer classes to students doing the state exams who wish to avail of extra support. The class sizes will be kept small to maximise learning and therefore will be in high demand. The centre has secured excellent teachers to take the classes for both ordinary and higher level in both junior and leaving certificate programmes.
