Dominic is highly qualified.  He is former principal of Ard Scoil Chiarain Naofa in Clara, where he taught Maths to all levels, up to and including Leaving Cert higher level. He corrected Mathematics scripts for the state examinations commission for many years.

Dominic is also a former chairman of the Irish Mathematics Teachers Association.  He was part of the Project Maths roll out team who was guiding teachers on how to teach the new curriculum. Dominic was a tutor in University of Limerick's Professional Diploma in Mathematics for Teaching, a qualification which allowed participants to teach maths when they were already qualified to teach a different subject.

Jackie is a highly qualified Irish teacher who is passionate about the language.  He is now retired however was the higher level Irish teacher in his school.


He is involved in the Gaeltacht scheme running in Killina School during the summer.





Georgina Hogan B.A.(Hons) NUIG English & History H. Dip in Education,


Georgina is Head of the English Department in the school in which she teaches and is qualified to teach the 'new' Junior Cert curriculum


Georgina is currently a higher level English and History teacher for both Junior and Leaving certs and is a current State Examiner (Corrector)




Kelly Geraghty

Postgraduate Certificate in Modern Foreign Language Teaching; Liverpool Hope University

Kelly is a passionate language teacher with experience teaching in schools in both the UK and Ireland. She is currently a teacher of French at both Higher and Ordinary level for Junior Cert. and Leaving Cert. students. She regularly attends CPD workshops to ensure her teaching and resources are current and easily accessible for students.

Alex Aubin

Alex was born in Paris. He has a degree in Geography, French equivalent of Higher Diploma in History and Geography. Many years teaching experience at all secondary levels including equivalent of Junior Cert and Leaving Certificate. Alex is living in Tullamore since 2005, as a French teaching enthusiast he has run a successful French club to encourage speaking the language in the Gaelscoil  for three years. Substitute French teacher in many midlands schools from 2014 - present including involvement in preparation for leaving cert aural and oral.

All teachers come to the centre highly recommended
